LAST SITE UPDATE 8/24: SHOW PAST FLYERS, RESULTS, HISTORY, WIN-LOSS, RANKINGS, PICTURES, HISTORY, MAIN PAGE STORIES & MUCH MORE UPDATED WSU 8/22 & 8/23 Weekend Results/Report WSU successfully teamed up with the NWS promotion this past weekend to present two shows featuring some of WSU's hottest stars with the family entertainment style that NWS delivers. Below are the results and fallout of each show. On Friday, 8/22, WSU returned home to the site of this year's J-Cup, in Neptune, NJ. WSU was without the advertised Becky Bayless due to Becky Bayless getting arrested the day before for DUI. Making matters worse for Becky's personal life is that her father was hospitalized. Bayless was unable to appear at the shows this weekend, and WSU tried to get the information out to fans once we found out Friday afternoon of Becky's status. However, with Bayless out, it opened the doors for new talent in WSU. The first match on Friday saw Reyna Fire come out for her appearance. However, WSU Champion Angel Orsini came out and attacked Reyna Fire, as message to Mercedes Martinez. Reyna Fire, who debuted in WSU back in April, is the student & protege of Martinez and Orsini wanted to make it clear that she is not through with Martinez. As Orsini attacked and destroyed the lifeless Reyna Fire, DAWN MARIE & PORTIA PEREZ made the save for Reyna. In what was originally billed as a tag team match between Dawn Marie & Portia Perez vs Becky Bayless & WSU Champion Angel Orsini, our advertised main event changed, as Dawn & Portia said because Becky wasn't here, how about we have a championship match. NWS commissioner Gino Moore agreed and a triple threat main event title match was booked for later on in the show. Roxxie Cotton w/Rick Cataldo d. Trixxie Lynn in what was a very spirited match. This was Trixxie's first match for WSU and she looked in great shape. However, Roxxie who unpredictably is now on a winning streak in WSU, put away the newcomer. Melissa Coates d. Joey Janella in an intergender match. With Monique no-showing the event without telling WSU or NWS where she was, Joey Janella took advantage of the opportunity. Joey said women should not be wrestling. JOey was upset that his spot on the show wasn't there because girls filled up the roster for the night. This led to Melissa Coates coming out and squashing Joey Janella in a matter of minutes. To add insult to injury, Melissa spanked Janella over her knee afterwards!
Rick Cataldo w/Roxxie Cotton d. Autumn Breeze In a special Missy Hyatt "Missy's Manor" segment, Missy introduced WSU to newcomer Nicole Matthews. Missy interviewed the WSU rookie only to be interrupted by Cataldo & Cotton, who were in the commentating booth having "words" or lips rather, with Sean Hanson! Cataldo & Cotton tried recruiting Matthews for their Beatdown Betties stable, but were rejected. Cataldo, who's never been rejected before in WSU (Just ask Sean Hanson), was furious, as was Roxxie Cotton. Both attacked Nicole Matthews but Nicole fought them off and this led to an impromptu triple threat elimination match.

In a Triple Threat One-Fall-To-The Finish Match for the WSU Championship After 5 or so minutes after the first decision, Dawn & Portia, who were successful as a tag team back on 6/21, started to beef with each other, as they wanted to become WSU champion. This left an opening for Angel Orsini. Portia laid out Dawn Marie with a DDT and Angel followed up by planting Portia with an impaler. Angel then pinned Dawn Marie to retain the WSU championship! This is a match that has to be seen, as it was an incredible fight with tons of brawling and excellent mat wrestling. All five matches, segments & tons of backstage footage will be on the DVD release. All added to this DVD will be a special bonus match from the 8/16 JAPW event featuring Angel Orsini defending her championship against all three members of the Beatdown Betties- Rick Cataldo, Annie Social & Roxxie Cotton.
After a wild Friday night in Neptune, WSU returned to Belleville, NJ on Saturday, 8/23. The venue was historic for WSU, as it was the building where Alexa Thatcher defeated Alicia for the WSU Championship just over a year ago. The WSU championship scene has been chaotic & unpredictable as the belt has changed more times under NWS events than at WSU events. For many, it felt that history was going to be made again! WSU started off with a bang on 8/23, as Dawn Marie came out. Dawn Marie explained that Becky Bayless wasn't there, but she was. Dawn said she was here to wrestle and put out an open contract to anyone who wanted to face her. The newcomer Trixxie Lynn answered the challenge. Trixxie said that she would be honored to wrestle Dawn. This set up our first match for the evening. Dawn Marie vs Trixie Lynn went to a no-contest at around the 5 minute mark. This was a good in-ring match up and it looked like anyone was going to win. However, WSU CHAMPION ANGEL ORSINI and PORTIA PEREZ came brawling from the bar in the back of the building. The two brawled all over the venue and eventually wound up in the ring. The two wouldn't stop attacking each other and eventually the entire WSU roster emptied out from the back! The entire WSU roster plus referees & officials held these two back. NWS commissioner Gino Moore, seeing the situation and knowing that Angel Orsini was scheduled to defend her championship against Portia later in the night, decided to add a stipulation. Since WSU advertised a LumberJill match, which was not going to happen due to Becky's abscence, Gino decided to give the fans the advertised stipulation and announced that tonight's championship main event match would in fact be a LumberJill match with all the girls who broke up the altercation as Lumberjills! With Angel & Portia kicking each others asses all over the building for two nights back to back, this would hopefully ensure some order. Or so we thought!

In the Main Event Eventually all fucking hell broke loose, as all the Lumberjills fought in the ring. Dawn Marie, upset that she didn't get the championship the night before, interfered and cost Portia her chance at the WSU championship. Angel put Portia away with a superkick, but it looks like this won't be the last time these two hook up. In this writers opinion, this was one of the top 5 female matches all year and a MUST SEE. If you enjoyed Orsini/Martinez from our 6/21 event, you will love this match. All DVD commentary was done by Missy Hyatt & Steve "Monsta" Mack for these two shows. These DVDs will also feature exclusive backstage footage and promos. The DVD will also have three huge announcements/stories, which were filmed. Those announcements will be online later this week, but what we can tell you now, is that one new tag team has entered the WSU Tag Team Tournament, the first ever WSU commissioner was announced & Angel Orsini crossed the line like never before. On Friday 8/22 in Sharks River, NJ, a huge tag team match has been signed, as WSU Champion Angel Orsini teams with Becky Bayless to take on the undefeated duo of Dawn Marie & Portia Perez. On Saturday, 8/23 in Belleville, NJ, two explosive matches will take place, as WSU Champion Angel Orsini defends against Portia Perez. The heated & intense rivalry between Dawn Marie & Becky Bayless goes to an all new level, as Dawn Marie vs Becky Bayless III has been signed. Due to the ferocity between these two and to prevent Becky Bayless from getting any type of count out or DQ win, as she's done in the past, this match will be a Lumberjill Match! To raise the stakes even more, the loser of this match will be humiliated and disrespected by their opponent, as the loser will be paddled! All this & much more will take place. In recent months, Angel Orsini was up and down in losses to Lacey Von Erich, Mercedes Martinez, and Amy Lee. Lost in the finals of the J-Cup. Last one eliminated in the Uncensored Rumble. There was just no break to be had. All of a sudden, not only has Orsini stepped up to the plate but she is going beyond the call of duty and proving to become one of the best WSU Champions in history. On 5/31, at JAPW she shocked the world by accepting then WSU Champion Nikki Roxx’s open challenge. Surprisingly, Angel went on to defeating Roxx to capture the WSU Championship. Heading into June’s WSU tapings, the odds were against Angel Orsini that she’d walk out that night still champion. On the first taping she took on Amy Lee in a brawl that went all over ringside. After miscommunication between Awesome Kong and Amy Lee, Orsini took home the victory. Angel, who feuded with Lee when Angel originally debuted in WSU, upped the ante with a championship win over her former nemesis. In the second taping, she was matched against the Latina Sensation Mercedes Martinez. Angel & Mercedes debuted in WSU together and were a tandem for a long time. However in recent times, Mercedes has accepted the fans adoration for her while Angel will not embrace the fans. These two, while they still get along, no longer ride to the shows together, nor seen socializing with each other anymore. There is a mutual respect between the two that will always be there, but things haven't been the same ever since Mercedes Martinez beat Angel in the finals of this year's J-Cup. These two would go on to have a great match that had the fans roaring. Many are calling their match the best match in WSU history. They started with a technical chess match in the ring. The ring couldn’t contain these two and the fight went to the outside. The ringside area couldn’t hold them either and the fight went all over the building! This fight saw everything from a toss off the stage to moves off the balcony. Angel then faked an injury that convinced everybody from the crowd to Mercedes before rolling her up for a quick three. The crowd was shocked along with Mercedes as Angel snuck away with the victory for the 2nd straight time and went home with the title belt. Angel, who left with a smile on her face, after defeating Mercedes in a 20 minute plus match, did leave with some nagging injuries, but none too serious for the champion. Two title defenses in one night, and Angel goes home still WSU Champion. The competition is hot, Angel has challenged anyone in the world, and Mercedes wants revenge. Angel says she is going to defend the belt everywhere and against anyone. WSU management will be working with other companies to set up WSU championship defenses, as Angel has made it clear she wants her name to be mentioned whenever the word champion is mentioned. The Dawn Marie versus Becky Bayless feud continued on June 21st and isn't over yet. What originally started on 3/8 and led to a vicious match on 3/22, continued here on 6/21, in two huge matches. On the first taping, Dawn & Becky battled each other in a one on one contest. Before the match, Missy Hyatt volunteered herself to manage Dawn Marie after taking issue with Ms. Bayless on 4/20. Becky promised she had an enforcer and that the enforcer was TNA Star Angelina Love! After several minutes of tearing each other apa,rt Becky came out victorious by count out after Angelina interfered and held Dawn outside the ring. An attempted double team beat down was prevented by Portia Perez who debuted earlier in the night. This led to on the second taping a tag match pitting Dawn Marie and Portia Perez versus Becky Bayless and Angelina Love. This match got started quickly and ended quickly. The battled started before the ladies got into the ring and then a quick rollup by Dawn on Becky was all she wrote for Dawn to get a victory and even the score. Becky says it was a fluke that will never happen again. Dawn says it shows how far less talented Becky is. This feud is far from over. These two ladies will tear each other apart until the other is black and blue. Becky clearly disrespects the legends of this business and says it's time for "the old bags to go the senior home where they belong." Legends such as Dawn Marie, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch & Missy Hyatt have all tried slapping sense into Becky, but everytime Becky comes back with more insulting and disparaging remarks. Angelina Love of TNA Wrestling, made her WSU debut as well on 6/21. Love picked up a questionable victory over international star Portia Perez. From there, Angelina teamed up with new found friend Becky Bayless against Portia Perez & Dawn Marie in a huge tag team attraction match. Angelina has made it clear that the wrestlers and fans in WSU are so ugly (except for Becky Bayless) that there's not enough trash bags in the world to cover everyone up. Making friends isn't one of Angelina's strong points. Angelina joins other TNA alumni such as Velvet Sky (Talia), Awesome Kong, Christie Hemme, Roxxi Leveaux (Nikki Roxx), Moose (Mickie Knuckles) and others to compete in WSU.
WSU was happy to have Portia Perez make her WSU debut on 6/21. Portia Perez, an international star, wasted no time getting into the thick of things, as she tried to right what she saw wrong in WSU! After losing a heated battle with TNA's Angelina Love, Portia decided she wanted to prove that she was the better wrestler and asked for a rematch. However, later in the show, when Portia saw Becky Bayless & Angelina Love double team & attack Dawn Marie, she took the ball into her own hands, and ran with it, clearing the ring of the evilness that is Becky Bayless & Angelina Love. Portia would then go on to team with Dawn Marie against Bayless & Love in a tag team match. Portia and Dawn would win the match in record time! By being part of a high profile team and defeating two of WSU's best, Portia has propelled herself into an instant contender for any championship in the WSU promotion.
Kong thinking she can become WSU Champion, on the second taping, if Lee could win the belt on the first taping, tried to help Lee out in her title match but to no avail. Kong knocked Lee out, when a misdirected spinning backfist, intended for Orsini, connected with Lee, to cost Lee the match. This enraged Lee like never before and made her want Kong’s blood - one more time. The match was set for the second taping, as Kong/Lee II went down. These two matched each other with punches, kicks, and drops. Kong didn’t care for the rules and disobeyed the referee. After a bunch of a bickering with the referee, Kong couldn’t take it anymore and knocked the referee out. After a few more minutes of brawling, Lee looked like she was about to pin Kong but the referee woke up and called disqualification on Kong. This enraged Lee as she thought she was going to get the victory by pin fall. After the match Lee demanded one more match as the score is even now. Kong made it clear that she wants Lee one more time as well. Lee was not happy about beating Kong by what she called "a measly DQ". Lee added, "I never tapped out to Kong. I was never pinned by Kong. I passed out and the ref stopped the match. The way I see it, we've had two matches and the ref has stopped both of them. We need one more match, under Lee Rules, where the only way to win is by pinfall or submission. No more rinky dink ref BS!" The battle of goliaths will happen one more time to determine who is the biggest and baddest bitch of them all. Keep checking WSUwrestling.com to find out when this match will take place.

 While Kylie & Kacee went after Alere's already damaged neck, the two already activated part 1 of their plan, which was to handcuff Missy Sampson to the ring rope. With Missy stuck in the corner, the evil duo took turns making sure Alere would spend the night in the hospital. Due to this vicious attack, Alere Little Feather will miss some in-ring time, as she will now require surgery on her neck. Missy Sampson has not asked, but DEMANDED matches against both Kacee Carlisle & Kylie Pierce on a future WSU show. With the tag team title tournament taking place soon, Pierce & Carlisle may have eliminated some of the competition. More on this to come.
The two-time former WSU Champion & one of the wrestlers who helped put WSU on the map, Alicia, returned to greet her fans and give an update on her life. Kylie Pierce stood in the way, but a huge sitout hiptoss of doom later, Alicia returned to what she called "her ring" during her wrestler tenure in WSU. Alicia was welcomed by the fans and applauded. She told the WSU fans she has no plans to return to wrestling at the moment but WSU will always be her home and she will never forget anything. Alicia is someone who gave it her all for WSU. Alicia even went on to do commentary on the DVDs of the 6/21 events. While Alicia has no active plans to return to wrestling, the door is always open for Alicia should she want to do other activities in WSU, whether it be commentating, managing, or whatever. Both Alicia & WSU were happy with her return appearance.
After several losses, beat downs, and humiliating moments, the Beatdown Betties of Rick Cataldo and Roxxie Cotton not only got their first victory but got two victories at WSU on June 21st. On the first taping it was a three way tag match as it was the Soul Sisters versus the Beatdown Betties versus Missy Sampson and Alere Little Feather. It looked like Missy had the win for her team set up but Roxxie snuck in as Missy wasn’t looking and took the pin to get her first victory. The celebration was cut short by a Kong beat down but the victory was still there and it was a start of a glorious day for Cotton and Cataldo. On the second taping the Beatdown Betties took on the Soul Sisters in tag action and again they came out victorious for their second win! Before the match, WSU Commentator Sean Hanson, made a bet that if Cataldo and Cotton win he’d kiss Cataldo. It was rumored that Hanson & Cataldo had a tryst the night before at a local Red Roof hotel, to which Hanson denies, but everyone thinks Hanson is full of lies! Due to the Betties picking up the win, the kiss was made despite the fans’ disgust and laughter. This was by far, the gayest moment in WSU history! Cataldo and Cotton have been nonstop celebrating all over the country since June 21st. They’ve been to every mall buying tons of outfits and partying everywhere. No Spencer's Gifts or Hot Topic is safe!
They are saying they are unstoppable now. No one will stop them. The Betties are proclaiming to be the top team in WSU and have made it known they will win the WSU tag team titles. Can they keep it up or will this night be known as the biggest upset in histories and that’s all? The key question, is what does Annie Social think about this? What does Rebecca Payne think about this? Two of the Betties have win. Will jealously rear its ugly head? Will the wins get to Roxxie & Rick's head? Can The Betties still be united and fight for their common goal? Tons of questions to be answered, and we'll find it all out in the ring.

 ANGEL ORSINI DEFIES THE ODDS- DEFEATS BOTH AMY LEE & MERCEDES MARTINEZ IN TWO WILD MATCHES TO RETAIN THE WSU CHAMPIONSHIP! FULL WSU 6/21 DOUBLE DVD TAPING RESULTS INSIDE!
Angel Orsini, who has had some trouble times in WSU, has came up short in numerous attempts to become the number 1 contender to the WSU championship. After a loss to Lacey Von Erich, Angel lost in the finals of the 2008 WSU/NWS Womens J-Cup tournament and was the last woman eliminated in the Uncensored Rumble. However, when WSU & JAPW made a deal to have the WSU championship defended on JAPW events, Angel capitalized on the opportunity, and defeated Nikki Roxx to win the WSU Championship on 5/31 in Rahway, NJ. In a 12 minute match, that featured alot of mat wrestling with some brawling, Angel was able to put Nikki Roxx down for the count cleanly, after a reverse rock bottom. It was Angel's biggest win in WSU. Angel a mat veteran for some time threw a major wrench into the WSU fold, as Angel took the ball and is now ready to run with it. With tons of hungry challengers for the championship, a feeling Angel knows, Angel will now have to take on all comers, any where, any time. Nikki Roxx Off Of WSU's 6/21 Event Due to a TNA engagement, Nikki Roxx will now be unable to appear at WSU's 6/21 event. However, WSU will be announcing a major TV star replacement. On 4/20, WSU found a new number 1 contender in one of the most exciting matches ever, the WSU Uncensored Rumble! 15 women entered in 2 minute intervals, and when it was all said and done, the number 9 entrant, Amy Lee was the winner! This news didn't sit well with WSU Champion Nikki Roxx, as Roxx tried attacking Lee after the match, only to be caught! Roxx, who was fresh off winning the biggest match in her WSU career is now in for a new world of hurt, as she has to take on the unstoppable Amy Lee! Amy Lee has been a cornerstone in WSU ever since WSU's inception. Now, for the first time ever, Lee gets a one-on-one title shot with Nikki Roxx on 6/21. Lee vs Roxx, for the WSU Championship! Can Lee finally get the biggest prize in WSU or will Roxx be able to walk out as champion? This will be a huge match of epic proportions!
Nikki Roxx made her first WSU Championship defense on 4/20, in what many are calling the biggest & best wrestling match in WSU History. Roxx was able to turn back the challenge of both Alexa Thatcher & Cindy Rogers. To make sure WSU had no issues or controversy about the championship, the entire WSU locker room was banned from ringside, to ensure a clean and fair match. When it was all said and done, Roxx was able to still call herself WSU Champion. Roxx would go on to commentate during the WSU Uncensored Rumble, where the winner of the match would take on Roxx on 6/21. The winner of the Rumble was none other than AMY LEE, as Amy Lee will get her first ever WSU Championship one on one match on 6/21! If Roxx thought wrestling Alexa & Cindy was tough, what is she going tto do when she takes on the biggest & baddest bitch in all of WSU, "The Queen Of Mean & Obscene" PRYME TYME AMY LEE? This is one battle you won't want to miss on 6/21!
It all came to a head on 4/20 in one of the best matches in WSU history, as Roxx put the title on the line against Cindy & Alexa. Roxx, no slouch, despite her sneaky ways, was able to win the match. While Roxx is still the champion, both Thatcher & Rogers are a threat to the championship at any time. While Thatcher & Rogers weren't able to become WSU champion on 4/20, they were still able to show their respect and admiration for each other. With alot of stars in WSU looking for back-up, it's good that Thatcher & Rogers have someone they can trust at anytime. Both Thatcher & Rogers will have singles matches on 6/21. Thatcher has her eyes set on getting revenge on Becky Bayless, while Rogers plans on reworking her way up the WSU ladder. Both Thatcher & Rogers deserve tons of respect and admiration from WSU fans for their hard work. It should be interesting to see when their paths cross again, and if it does, WSU fans will be the winner.
After spitting in all the fans faces on 12/22, after her shocking masterplan with Alicia was revealed, Becky hasn't really gone out of her way to make too many friends in WSU. Becky called out Dawn Marie on the 3/8 event, only for Dawn to put her in her place on 3/22! Becky has also gotten under the skin of Tammy "Sunny" Sytch and cost Sunny the WSU Championship on 3/21. If that wasn't enough, Becky Bayless has stuck her nose in Mercedes Martinez's business. Becky came so close to screwing Mercedes out of the J-Cup tournament, and if Tammy Sytch didn't come out to return Becky's favor, Becky would be calling herself the WSU J-Cup champion right now! On 4/20, Becky defeated the injured Mercedes Martinez's protege, the debuting Reyna Fire. Becky would go on to screw Reyna Fire out of the Uncensored Rumble on 4/20, only for Mercedes Martinez to run out to eliminate Becky. Reyna Fire. Mercedes Martinez. Dawn Marie. Tammy "Sunny" Sytch. Is there anyone who likes Becky? Her supposed friend Missy Hyatt even had problems with Becky on 4/20!
Kacee Carlisle, an accomplished grappler who holds championships all over the country, put up a great fight against the more experienced Angel Orsini, but in the end Angel Orsini showed her dominance, winning the match. After defeating Carlisle, Angel Orsini drew number 5 in the WSU Uncensored Rumble. Angel would last till the very end, but just like the J-Cup, Angel was the last person eliminated, due to a vicious lariat from "Pryme Tyme" Amy Lee. On two occassions, Angel Orsini came so close to winning the big one. Angel has not yet earned a WSU Championship match, but she told WSUWrestling.com that will all change soon. What are Angel's plans? What does the future have in store for this ECW original? One thing is for sure, it will take someone with a death wish to step foot in the ring with Angel at an upcoming WSU show.
However, the Betties seem to be connecting more with WSU audiences, as Rick Cataldo, the self-proclaimed "Hottest Diva" in WSU is getting love letters from WSU fans across the globe! Cotton & Cataldo seem to be the closest of the Betties as after ttheir loss on 4/20, they vowed that they would go on the biggest shopping spree of all time. Annie Social did not look thrilled teaming with Cotton & Cataldo, and it seems Social teams with these two since they all have the common goal of wanting their first win in common. Rebecca Payne, winless in WSU, joined up with the Beatdown Betties on 4/20, and suffered another pinfall defeat. Social was not happy about Payne's introduction into the group as Social thought the Betties could've recruited someone else in their search for their first win. Social & Payne won't be able to appear at the WSU 6/21 event due to prior engagements, but Cataldo & Cotton will be there in full force. Cataldo even made it known that they have unfinished business with AWESOME KONG! Surely, it would be a mistake for The Betties to interfere with Kong. Cataldo & Cotton are currently booked in a match against the Soul Sisters on 6/21. With the Soul Sisters reunited, can The Betties get their first win? Will the Betties ever win in WSU? And if they can win, what will Annie Social think about not being there for their first win? One thing that we can 100% confirm and answer is that no matter what, win or lose, Cataldo & Cotton will be hitting up Hot Tropic and Spencers Gifts after the show!

MERCEDES MARTINEZ WINS THIS YEAR'S ANNUAL WSU/NWS WOMENS J-CUP TOURNAMENT -
On March 22nd, Mercedes Martinez picked up the three biggest wins in her WSU career, en route to winning the WSU/NWS Women's J-Cup tournament. Mercedes had to go through Jana, Becky Bayless & her good friend Angel Orsini, to win this prestigious tournament. As a result of the win, Mercedes Martinez has shot up the WSU rankings. Can a match against newly crowned WSU Champion Nikki Roxx be far away? Stay tuned.
BECKY BAYLESS VS DAWN MARIE HEATS UP! -
After challenging Dawn Marie to a match at "DAWN OF A NEW DAY", Becky Bayless thought she wouldn't see Dawn Marie until at least June 21st, the date of WSU's next double dvd tapings. However, Becky was in for a world of hurt & surprise, when WSU Commissioner & Former WSU Champion, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch, announced that she found a special first round opponent for Becky Bayless at this year's J-Cup tournament! To everyone's surprise, Dawn Marie came out and laid the biggest ASS KICKING we've seen in WSU in a while. The two WWE divas, Tammy & Dawn Marie, reveled as they shut up the loud mouth Becky. While Becky did win the match via DQ, as Dawn would not stop strangling Becky, it seems that Dawn won the battle. Becky is furious bout being embarrassed by the two former WWE divas, and has made it known that she wants Dawn Marie on 6/21! Becky might've bit off more than she can chew because Dawn Marie is more than ready and has promised to lay a bigger beating on Becky than the first time! This is not a match you want to miss, and make sure to check out the DVD of this year's J-Cup to check out this brutal asskicking!
 After suffering two defeats on March 8th at "First Anniversary Show" & "Dawn of a New Day", Angel Orsini vowed to never let that happen again. Angel told WSUWrestling.com that it's her time to shine in WSU and she will no longer take a backseat to anybody. After self-admittedly saying she over-looked Lacey Von Erich, Angel described that match as a wake-up call for her in WSU and that no one is safe- including her friend Mercedes Martinez. While Angel steamrolled her way into the finals of this year's J-Cup tournament, Angel couldn't defeat her partner Mercedes Martinez. However, we saw a new Angel in this match as she brought the pain & fight to her partner. If Mercedes is a friend, and Angel would beat the hell out of a friend like that, then all of Angel's enemies should be on major watch. The WSU roster has been bewared. Angel Orsini is the real deal.

 The Stare-off Between The Two Biggest Badasses in WSU AWESOME KONG VS AMY LEE DELIVERS AN ALL OUT WAR; MOST BLOODIEST & BARBARIC MATCH IN WSU HISTORY -
To give this match justice in this WSUWrestling.com report, all we can say is GET THE DVD! Many weapons were broken. Garbage cans and bleachers were sacrificed. Both hit their finishing moves, only for the other competitor to escape a loss. However, after mangling guard rails, security guards and anything else in their way, Kong got the advantage when Amy was busted open after colliding with a chair. A very bloody Amy Lee continued the match. However, Kong kept abusing Lee more and more, but Amy wouldn't give up. Eventually, Amy fell victim to a devastating single leg boston crab. Amy would not give up despite the referee advising her to. However, Amy eventually passed out from all the pain. With Amy Lee passed out, the ref awarded the win to Awesome Kong. This was Amy's most hard fought match yet, and with Kong now 3-0 in WSU, who will stop Kong? In a promo that will be on the DVD release, Amy made it clear that she was never beat, pinned or submitted, and that she wants Kong one more time. This match has had everyone talking and is arguably the standard-bearer for any womens hardcore wrestling match in the world today. As WSU was celebrating its one year birthday, with athletes & matches like these, WSU looks forward to many more birthday brawls & bashes!

DAWN MARIE DEBUTS IN WSU: ANSWERS BECKY's CHALLENGE!
WSU was honored to have the great Dawn Marie join the WSU roster on March 8th. Dawn Marie, who was asked to special guest referee the tag team bout between Alexa Thatcher & Cindy Rogers vs Nikki Roxx & A Partner of Roxx's choosing, found herself doing double duty and right in the middle of it all, when she was called out by none other than:  Becky Bayless Becky Bayless, who didn't show up until there was one match remaining during WSU's double DVD tapings, due to travel problems with the terrible weather, made it clear that she wasn't sorry about missing her match with Alexa Thatcher. Becky said while she was being chauffered to the WSU arena, she thought to herself that she doesn't want to wrestle a "no-name" star like Alexa, but she wanted to make herself famous off of the name of Dawn Marie! Becky ran down Dawn Marie and insulted her several times before Dawn Marie came out with a few choice words of her own, letting everyone know that she'll beat the shit out of Becky! Dawn wanted to fight Becky during "Dawn of a New Day" but Becky ran out before anything could happen. However, WSU is pleased to announce that Dawn vs Becky is signed for an upcoming WSU event. Becky better prepare for that match later on, because in a huge BOMBSHELL WSU is announcing that at this years NWS/WSU Womens J-Cup Tournament on 3/22 (Full details coming soon) Becky Bayless will not be able to hide from Alexa Thatcher, as Alexa Thatcher vs Becky Bayless has been signed as a first round match! Becky may be in for a world of hurt, as Alexa looks to repeat as The J-Cup Tournament winner!
