WSU 10/11 DVD Taping 1 Results From Boonton, NJ: Wild Main Event, The WSU Debut of Molly Holly, Angel Orsini & Mercedes Martinez Take It Up a Notch, Annie Social Picks Up First WSU Win, Big Words From Cindy Rogers, A Possible Firing & More WSU 10/11 Tag Team Tournament Double DVD Taping Results Taping One WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round One Amy Lee & Missy Sampson w/Alere Little Feather d. Little Jeanne & Lea Morrison Missy Sampson explained to the crowd that while she wanted revenge on Kylie Pierce & Kacee Carlisle, Kacee Carlisle had a family emergency and couldn't make the event. WSU wishes the best to Kacee during her difficult time. With that said, Amy & Missy said they did not want a bye and challenged any two wrestlers in the back. After defeating the fan favorites of Lea Morrison & Little Jeanne, Amy proclaimed a new era of WSU where while WSU may be uncensored, disrespect for the promotion will not be tolerated. At that point, Amy said if you don't have "tits or a clit" you're not allowed in the ring and promptly said means goodbye Rick Cataldo. Upon hearing this news, Commentator Sean Hanson has filed a grievance & there are rumblings he may start a petition to bring his boyfriend back into the company. WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round One Malia Hosaka & Miss April d. The Soul Sisters (Jana & Latasha) The newcomers to WSU, 21 year veteran Malia Hosaka & rookie Miss April really impressed as a duo. The Soul Sisters continued to show signs of a shaky relationship, losing a tournament many thought they would win. WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round One The Beatdown Betties (Roxxie Cotton & Annie Social) d. Melissa Coates & Trixxie Lynn In an upset, the Betties picked up a win, with Annie Social winning her first ever match in WSU! This is something that has to be seen on DVD to be believed. WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round One Mercedes Martinez & Angel Orsini d. Bobcat & Gorgeous George In what many are calling one of the most shocking moments in WSU history, Angel Orsini teamed up with Mercedes Martinez. Martinez called out Orsini and talked about how Orsini has been ducking and getting lucky in matches with her. Martinez talked about how Orsini laid out Martinez's partner Reyna Fire last night. Martinez said she didn't care who Orsini's partner would be & said she'd fight in a handicapped match against Orsini & her mystery partner. When pressed Orsini finally let the cat out of the bag and announced Martinez as her partner. Orsini said her best chance to win the tournament was with Martinez which is why she had been attacking Fire. With Fire hospitalized, Martinez had no choice but to come out alone, leaving her to tag with Orsini. Orsini then said with Martinez teaming with her, it means Martinez couldn't go after her in the tournament matches. However during the match against Bobcat & George, Martinez had the match seemingly won. LITTLE JEANNE ran out and attacked Martinez, allowing Angel & Jeanne to win the match. Both Jeanne & Orsini attacked Martinez after the match proclaiming this was part of their master plan. In a separate promo on the DVD release it was explained that Jeanne & Orsini used to team before and have been friends for 15 years and they suckered Martinez into their plan. They eliminated Martinez from the tournament and outsmarted Martinez. You'll want to see this on the DVD, as Angel has not only shown off her brawn in WSU, but her brains. In a live Missy Manor segment, Missy introduced former WWE Womens Champion Molly Holly. Holly greeted the crowd and said she was happy to be here tonight. Molly said she's been checking out the WSU DVDs and one wrestler caught her eye. Molly introduced Cindy Rogers. The injured Cindy Rogers came out to talk to the crowd. Rogers explained her injury and how long it will take her to recover. Rogers then said that back a few months ago, she earned the right to be named #1 contender to the WSU Championship. Rogers said she earned that match due to her series of matches with Alexa Thatcher. Rogers said that Thatcher received many one on one shots, but all Rogers got was a triple threat match with Alexa and then-champ Nikki Roxx. Rogers said she wants it to be known that once she gets back she's challenging for the gold no matter who the champion is. This was a very intense part of the show from someone who usually does her talking in the ring. WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round Two The Beatdown Betties (Roxxie Cotton & Annie Social) d. Malia Hosaka & Miss April WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round Two Amy Lee & Missy Sampson d. WSU Champion Angel Orsini & Little Jeanne This was one of the better tag matches in WSU history, with all four wrestlers brawling all over the building. Eventually Mercedes Martinez ran out, distracting Orsini, allowing Amy to pin Orsini to advance in the tournament. As a result of this pinfall, WSU has announced a special WSU championship match on the 10/18 JAPW event between Lee & Orsini. This was one hell of a main event to wrap up the first taping of the Tag Team Title Tournament show. Commentary for this DVD was done by Missy Hyatt, Sean Hanson & Steve "Monsta" Mack.
